Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Trip Chronicle, and older if the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for a service like this. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement. Trip Chronicle is a social entertainment app that includes user-generated content and group chat.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google or Apple. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Keep your profile information accurate. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

3. Acceptable use

When using Trip Chronicle, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, or post hateful, illegal, or sexually explicit content.
• Upload photos or content you don't have the right to share, or that depict people who haven't consented.
• Use the app to encourage dangerous, illegal, or harmful behavior.
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access or abuse the service.
• Impersonate others or misuse another person's information.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and content you add to Trip Chronicle. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process that content solely to operate the app for you and the members of your sessions (for example, showing a snapshot to your crew and in your recap).

Trip Chronicle includes tools to report and block. Reported content may be automatically hidden once enough reports are received or a host reports it, and we may remove content that violates these terms. You are responsible for the content you share.

5. Purchases and Quest Tokens

• Trip Chronicle is free to use. Some extras — such as the AI Narrator, additional narrator personalities, and premium recaps — are unlocked by spending Quest Tokens, a virtual, consumable in-app currency you buy through the App Store or Google Play.
• Quest Tokens and the items they unlock have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are not transferable outside the app.
• Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms. Except where required by law or by the applicable store's policies, purchases are final and non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google.
• Prices and the specific extras offered may change over time.

6. AI-generated content

When enabled, Trip Chronicle's narrator commentary may be generated by artificial intelligence. AI output is meant to be lighthearted and may be inaccurate, unexpected, or imperfect. It does not reflect our views, and you should not rely on it for any factual, health, or safety purpose.

7. Entertainment only — not a safety or medical tool

Trip Chronicle is an entertainment app. It does not measure, estimate, or report any medical or health condition, and it is not a navigation or travel-safety service. All "vibe" metrics are fictional and for fun. Nothing in Trip Chronicle is medical, health, legal, travel, or safety advice.

Never use Trip Chronicle to make any decision about your health or safety, or about whether somewhere is safe to go. Follow the laws where you are. If you or someone else may be in danger, contact local emergency services.

8. Our intellectual property

Trip Chronicle, including its name, design, artwork, narrator personalities, and software, is owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without our permission.

9. Termination

You may stop using Trip Chronicle and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or to protect the app and its users. Some provisions — including sections 7, 8, 10, and 11 — survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

Trip Chronicle is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Your use of the app is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — Trip Chronicle, including any decision made or action taken in reliance on the app. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Trip Chronicle after an update means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where SamTech Solutions is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us at support@samtech.solutions so we can try to resolve it directly.
