Frequently asked

Is Trip Chronicle free?

Yes. Starting trips, inviting your crew, logging the day, snapshots, group chat, pre-written live narration, and a standard recap are free. Optional one-time purchases unlock full AI narration and chronicles for one trip, keep one trip beyond its scheduled removal date, or add narrator characters to your account.

What does "day one is free" mean?

The first day you ever run on your account — on any trip, once — includes the two things Trip Pass normally adds: the AI narrator writing its own lines as you log, and the day's chronicle when you end the day. There is nothing to activate and nothing to cancel. After that first day, Trip Pass is a one-time purchase for one trip: no subscription, no auto-renewal, and every trip without it still has the free live narration and a standard recap.

What does Keep Forever keep?

Every trip has a scheduled removal date after it ends; nothing is deleted while the clock runs, and export is always free. Keep Forever is a one-time purchase for one trip that removes that trip's removal date, so its days, chronicles, and photos stay in your account for as long as Trip Chronicle is available. It is a promise about your trip, not a promise that the service runs forever: if we ever have to wind Trip Chronicle down, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the app and by email, and export will stay available until the end (see the Purchases section of our Terms).

Does Trip Chronicle track my health or my location?

No. Trip Chronicle never measures or estimates any health metric, and it does not collect your precise location. Every vibe meter is fictional and for entertainment only. Never use Trip Chronicle to make a health or safety decision.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to your Profile screen, and choose Delete account. If you can't access the app, email support@samtech.solutions and we'll process the request for you.

What gets deleted or anonymized: your account and profile (name, email, avatar) are removed, and your photos ("snapshots") and chat messages are permanently deleted. The rest of what you logged — your sessions, the activity you logged in them (scenes, moments, food and ideas), and reactions — stays as part of other people's trip history but is irreversibly anonymized, so it no longer shows your name or identifies you. Deletion is permanent and takes effect right away — we don't keep a restorable copy of your account.

What we keep: only what we're required to retain for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons — for example, a minimal record of a purchase. Content you added to other people's sessions is anonymized rather than shown under your name. For full details, see the retention section of our Privacy Policy.

How do I delete selected data without deleting my account?

Email support@samtech.solutions from the email address connected to your Trip Chronicle account. Tell us which data you want deleted, such as your profile avatar, particular snapshots, chat messages, or trip content. We may ask you to verify that you own the account.

Data that belongs solely to you will be deleted where possible. Content that forms part of another member's shared trip history may be irreversibly anonymized instead. We may retain minimal purchase, security, fraud-prevention, safety, or legal records where required. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. Reported messages or content may be retained for safety review for up to 90 days.

How do I export my data?

Open the app, go to your Profile screen, and choose Export my data to get a copy of your account and session data. If you need help, email support@samtech.solutions.

My Trip Pass or Trip Keep Forever purchase did not activate.

Reopen the trip and give the purchase a moment to sync. If it still is not active, email us with your device type, the trip name, product name, and approximate purchase time. Do not send payment-card details. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their store policies.

My narrator pack is missing.

Open the in-app store and choose Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed into the same Trip Chronicle and app-store accounts used for the purchase. If it remains missing, email us with the narrator name and approximate purchase date.

How do I turn off notifications?

Manage push notifications in your device's system settings for Trip Chronicle.
